Zimbabwe Collection Day a great success

About a dozen Rotarians from St. John's Northwest, St John's and Waterford Valley Rotary Clubs showed up to receive and sort donations from the public - including donors from all other Rotary Clubs on the Avalon and the Rotaract Club of St. John's. The result was a very successful day of gathering supplies for the container which is bound for Tshelanyemba, Zimbabwe later this year.

Thanks to all who donated their time and their goods and thanks to for the coverage and promotion by CBC Radio, especially Maggie Gillis; The Telegram and MP Seamus O'Regan. Anyone with items to donate who may have missed today's collection drive can contact the Club through the website or Facebook and arrangements can be made for pick-up.
