Over 250 people attended the 2008 Rotary Gala Auction at the Fairmont Hotel on May 3rd. Rotarian Tom McCaughey reported that the Gala Dinner and Auction brought in over $90,000 which will be split between Daffodil Place and projects of the St. John’s Northwest Rotary Club.
Rotarian Ed Drover was co-patron of the event along with Great Big Sea front man Alan Doyle. Both men were instrumental in bringing in people and gifts to the auction.
