Adopt a School Program

The Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest announces (May 2009) that it adopts Virginia Park Elementary!

The Club has a long-standing relationship with this school and wants to help the school develop the whole child. In that vein, the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest has, in the past, made multiyear financial commitments to Virginia Park Elementary to enable them to further develop their children through the Literacy and Music Programs. We have helped purchase a sound system, gymnasium risers, and most recently we have helped with the Band Program. Along with the financial commitment, our members will become involved with the school helping out at various activities throughout the school year (sweat-equity!). In May 2009 we are excited to formally commit to the growth of our Adopt a School Program at Virginia Park Elementary.
