Froude Avenue - Room Makeover

On Saturday, September 16th, 2006 Rotary NW's resident "Paint Crew" put a fresh coat of paint on the Homework Room at the Froude Avenue Community Centre. There was also considerable help from some of the staff and adult volunteers from the neighbourhood.

This was our club's third, hands-on, Homework Room Makeover. In January we painted the room at the Virginia Park Community Centre. In May, we painted the homework room at Buckmaster’s Circle. Both projects were a great success.. Each of these projects has included a $500 donation to the Community Centre to cover cost of the paint and supplies, and anything else needed for the project. Our club can be proud of these hands-on projects which have revitalized the rooms at three Community Centres!
