Meet our Youth Exchange Student
Madoka's Dad Visits from Japan: Our 2006-2007 Youth Exchange Student, Madoka Yamamoto, from Japan, concluded her year in St. John's in June 2007. In early June, Madoka's dad, Seiichi Yamamoto, visited her in St. John's and accompanied her to our June 5th meeting. Seiichi is a Rotarian in Ishikawa, Japan, and was presented with a club banner from St. John's Northwest to bring our greetings back to his own club. Seiichi is a member if Kanazawa East Rotary Club of Japan (District 2610). He expressed his gratitude for Madoka's time with us, and appreciation for the kindnesses that were shown her throughout the year.
