The 2018 Aidan Maloney Young Professionals Award was presented at our November 20th meeting. This year's recipients are Nikki Carew and Josh Smee.
Nikki is a financial services specialist with East Coast Mortgage Brokers, is Director of Newfoundland for the Mortgage Broker Assoc. of Atlantic Canada and Chair of Brokering Wishes NL, a charity which raises funds to enable wishes through Make-a-Wish. She has been recognized as a Woman of Influence and a "Top Gun" by her profession and is an active community volunteer.
Josh is Provincial Expansion Coordinator at Choices for Youth, a charity providing services for homeless and at-risk youth; chairs the Board of the St. John's Farmer's Market Cooperative and is Past Chair of Happy City St. John's. Josh is also part of the musical community - serving on the Board of the Tuckamore Festival and singing in the Philharmonic Choir of the NSO and the Quintessential Vocal Ensemble.
