Successful Interactions with People with Sight Loss

This presentation will be about how to successfully include those with sight loss into our communities. We will talk about what is sight loss, the spectrum of sight loss as well as the increase in sight loss in our province. From there we will explain the difference in CNIB and VLR services and the free programs that we run. The majority of the presentation will talk about simple/ free tips and tricks that you can use when you work/ meet someone who is blind or partially sighted in the community. Deon and Kim will also be sharing parts of their story - as a mom of a child who is blind and a person who is living with sight loss in our community.
