In 2023 we partnered with The Rotary Club of Montreal on a water project in Zimbabwe. Our Rotary club managed the project. We met with community leaders to determine the best use of funds available and it was decided that the goal would be to replace broken water pipes through several villages near Tshelanyemba. People in the villages assisted in the project by digging the trenches needed to lay the water pipe. Over 17 kilometers of water pipe was laid and a company was hired to install a solar pump at the river. Several villages now have access to clean water, this will have a huge impact on the quality of life for the people in the area.
